Our homestead often only brings in enough income for us to keep it running, and purchase REBOOT trauma recovery materials for those who reach out to us. We happily share out of our own pocket if need arises, but also felt that many families could be overwhelmed with blessings beyond our capabilities if others knew about their need and responded, so we started this fund. The vast majority of first responder critical incidents will never make the news or reach civilian ears, yet for the family, will result in years of recovery, or even lifelong symptoms. Sometimes the first responder's department itself is not even fully aware that their personnel is in crisis. Our goal is to make these families feel seen, and meet their tangible needs, wherever they are at. At our lowest, we didn't even know what we needed, so all recipient families are at minimum offered assistance with day to day necessities such as house cleaning, hospital companionship/visits, meal delivery and trauma recovery while they figure out what might be most helpful in the long or short term.

Find Help
Have you or a first responder you know recently experienced an on duty critical incident? Please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Until you ask someone else to advocate for you, you are your only advocate. We can't send back-up if you don't call for it. To make sure that we are truly reaching first responder families and not being scammed, we will ask for verification of agency/department, and to speak with you on the phone to figure out how we can best proceed to help you. As first responders, our tendency is to tell ourselves that because our job is to help others, we don't need help. But we DO. And that's ok. You and/or your spouse have given a lot serving others, please do us the honor of giving us a chance to serve YOU. Fill out the form below to speak with us:
